Professional philosophy

Depth where needed. Continuity wherever possible.

Advanced surgical expertise is most effective when it is supported by appropriate first-contact care, disciplined referral, multidisciplinary collaboration, rehabilitation and follow-up. The wider clinical architecture is therefore designed around both specialist depth and continuity closer to the patient’s home.

“Care should be delivered at the most appropriate level, with advanced expertise available when clinical complexity requires it.”
