Having a difficult phase of my life at the age of 63 made things worse not only for me, but also for my family. Namaskar! My name is Raghvir and I am from Hissar. Here I want to share my story with all those cancer patients who have lost all hope and think they will never be able to lead normal lives again. After being diagnosed with tongue and mouth cancer, I was unable to eat properly. Despite visiting many renowned hospitals and doctors, I was always asked to return home. Having lost all hope, I thought that I had to live out the remainder of my days with the lump in my neck.

Fortunately, I was able to meet Dr. Bhushan Kathuria who showed me the right way to treat my condition and made me believe that I could go back to a normal life. Following the transoral endoscopy procedure, in which the cancer and lump in my mouth and neck got removed, I am stronger and able to handle my daily chores with all strength. During the radiation, Dr. Bhushan Kathuria ensured that the cancer would not recur.

Due to my physical limitations, I found it extremely difficult to cope with this dangerous disease. Even one year after my successful surgery, I am full of strength and have proven all those people wrong who told me that I would never be healthy again. Now I am going to the doctor on my own to get a routine checkup. I congratulate Dr. Bhushan Kathuria and his team for the great work they do every day.
